Thomas Long

ARIZONA CITY — Thomas A. Long, 71, of Arizona City died on Aug. 18, 2016, in Bedford, England.

A private service is planned.

Mr. Long was born on Sept. 17, 1944. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he was warden at Eloy Detention Center before retirement. He was devoted to his family.

Survivors include two daughters, Michele Doughty and Melissa Rodriguez; a brother, T.L. Long; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Guyda.

Angels in Waiting Cremation & Burial was in charge of arrangements.
