Beatriz Valenzuela Parra, 78, of Casa Grande died at home on Oct. 22, 2016 surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Parra was born in Pitiquito, Sonora, Mexico and was a daughter of Beatriz Lizarraga Coronado and Jesus Valenzuela Salazar. She came to Arizona in 1988 and loved cooking, being a homemaker and taking care of her kids and grandkids. She also loved to garden and enjoyed traveling to Mexico to visit family.

Survivors include her husband, Walter; six daughters, Bernice Parra Torres, Yecenia Parra Cade, Nadia Belinda Parra Cañeda, Amalia Wendy Parra, Karen Parra and Zenia Zeet Parra; two sons, Walter N. Parra Jr. and Francisco A. Parra; a sister, Diega Valenzuela Lizarraga; two brothers, Jose Francisco and Jesus Valenzuela Lizarraga; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Manuel and Francisco Valenzuela Lizarraga

Services are to be held Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 at St. Helen's Catholic Church 205 W. 8th St. Eloy, AZ 85131. Visitation begins at 5:30pm, Rosary at 6:30pm and Mass starts at 7:00pm.
