Dennis LeRoy Kringen
Dennis LeRoy (Denny) Kringen was born to Al and Helen Kringen on Sept. 21, 1937 in Colman, SD. The family lived on a farm at Rutland. At the age of 6, he moved with the family to Lane, where he attended lane Consolidated school until his senior year when he them moved to Huron, SD, where he graduated from Huron High School. His love of cars and mechanical work lead to him working with mechanical things all his life. After working various jobs throughout the years he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Huron College. Following graduation he moved to Pierre, SD. and worked in the chemical dependency field receiving his Master of Education degree in English. He then went to work with the SD Dept. of Health and after 21 years retired as a computer tech with the bureau of information and technology.
He married Janice Hansen. Two boys, Dennis and Daley and a girl, Dawn were born to this union.
On November 2, 1974 he married Donna Zuber/Kenworthy in Pierre, SD. After retiring they spent 5 years traveling across the US and Canada in a motor home. In 2004 they settled in Arizona City where he resided until his death on April 17, 2017 at Mesa Promise Acute Care Hospital.
Services will be held at a later date in South Dakota.
