Birdie, 75, of Casa Grande, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maria Gonzales Guerra and and their children, Monica Guerra, Gloria Guerra, Esmeralda Vergara(Horacio), Armando Guerra Jr. (Michelle), Debbie Reyna (Vince), and his sister Delia Franco of Las Vegas, NV. he was preceded in death by his mother, father and six siblings.
Birdie was a resident of Casa Grande for over 60 years and was well known and loved by our community. He received a Technical Degree in Electronics from the Electronic Institute of Arizona and went on his own "Birdie's TV and Electronics". He had a lifelong thirst for knowledge and continued to educate himself on on many topics. He enjoyed restoring vintage cars and loved to spend time with his friends, son, and grandsons while doing so, Birdie was a brilliant man who could find a solution to any problem.
Birdie was a treasure to our community always willing to lend a helping hand. He was known for his vibrant personality, great sense of humor and left a lasting impression on all those who knew him. He had a large family with an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephew. Birdie and Maria loved music and had a passion for dancing. His favorite past time was enjoying a game of billiards with his buddies.
As per Birdie's request there will be no funeral or memorial service. The family hopes that you will take a moment to remember and celebrate the life of their beloved "Birdie".
