Curtiss Leroy Ayres, 82, passed away February 3, 2025 in Mesa.

Mr. Ayres was born in Ashland, LA on September 14, 1942. He embarked on a journey of service by joining the Navy as a deckhand aboard the USS Henry S. Wilson.

Throughout his travels to various states and countries, he found joy and solace in the Philippines, where he cherished each day by watching the sunrise and sunset while enjoying his coffee. His love for riding motorcycles and relaxing in his rocking chair filled his life with happiness.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Teofila, six children, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, embodying a legacy of love and family.

Angels in Waiting Funeral Services will honor his wishes for cremation, and he will find eternal rest at his cherished beach property in the Philippines.
