Derek Avila

December 21, 1984 - January 29, 2022

Derek Avila passed away at the age of 37. He was raised in Oregon by his grandparents, Cheryl and Tom Bernal. Derek moved to Arizona at the age of 20 and Cheryl and Tom moved to Arizona shortly thereafter.

Derek worked and went to school. He graduated from apprenticeship school and as a Journeyman was part of Local Union 469. He loved his Union and the guys he worked with and his close friends Raul, Jesus, Richard, Craig, David, Ken, Bob, and many more.
