Eddie Longoria Ruiz

August 15, 1959 - December 18, 2024

 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Eddie Longoria Ruiz, a devoted father, loved grandfather, beloved brother, and cherished friend. 

Eddie Longoria Ruiz was born August 15, 1959, to Anita and Jesus B. Ruiz.

Known for his adventurous spirit, Eddie created lasting memories with his boys during their lake trips, where laughter echoed across the water, and stories were shared under the stars. He also loved riding through the desert, exploring the beauty of nature while embracing the thrill of the open road with his sons by his side.

Eddie dedicated his life to his family. He had an incredible ability to make everyone feel loved and cherished. He was not just a father, grandfather and friend, but a guiding light, offering advice, support, and a warm smile in every moment of our lives. His love for his family was matched only by his passion for the great outdoors.

An avid sports fan, Eddie enjoyed watching games, passionately cheering on his favorite teams. His enthusiasm was contagious, making even the smallest moments feel like celebrations.

 Eddie leaves behind his sons, Eduardo Ruiz, Jesus Ruiz, and Eric Ruiz. Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. And his beloved sibling, Juanita Gonzale. He is now reunited with his parents, Anita and Jesus B. Ruiz. 

A graveside service will be held on February 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eloy Memorial Park.
