Elizabeth Cardenas Camargo

Liz as called by many loved ones and friends. Chavela by family members, nickname given to her by a loving auntie when she was a baby.

She Elizabeth Cardenas Camargo ,63, residing in Coolidge, Az, passed January 8th, 2025.

She was born on August 23, 1961, on a farm outside of Levelland, Texas. She was an Arizona resident for 54 years, married to Zeferino Camargo for 28 years.

Liz had a great heart for children. She loved her offspring, and it was natural that it carried over to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her joy and her delight, always on hand to be the grandma taxi. Spending time with them at home, outings, or religious activities as she was one of Jehovah's Witness since 1995. Over all things she wished her children find happiness. She was also the favorite Tia to many of her nieces and nephews, she was always being followed by one or ten of them at a time.

That was her legacy, her love and kindness for her and our children.

Liz had many excellent qualities that had to be dug out, but when you found them, they were absolute treasures. Her and her husband had planned on traveling which was her passion pass along with great food. She will get to do that someday John 5:28-29.

Liz is survived by her husband Zeferino Camargo, her father Christobal Cardenas Sr.

Her children: Mercy Williams, Rosario Camargo, Yajaira Hernandez, Berta Camargo, Robert Esparza, and Eduardo Camargo.

Sisters: Ruth Alvarez, Olga Cardenas, Elvira DeLeon, and Maria Ensley.

23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Liz is preceded in death now with her mother Mrs. Elvira Cardenas, her siblings: Mary Lou, Beatrice, Cristobal, Daniel and Jose Luis Cardenas.
