Felipe Ibarra
Felipe P. Ibarra, 72, of Eloy, a longtime pastor, died on Jan 26, 2021.
Mr. Ibarra was born on Oct. 1948, in Elsa Teas, and was the son of Eliu S. and Loida P. Ibarra. They moved to Arizona in Feb. 1961, when he was 13. He worked on farms to help his father. He married Helen Villareal in 1968 and was with her until 1987.
They had four children, In 1988 he married Martina Pesina.
He established a church in Casa Grande with the Assemblies of God organization in 1971. In 1977 he resigned and went into full-time traveling ministry. In 1983 he established a second church independently under the name Fountains os Living Waters. Evangelistic. He was pastor until 1987. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar, his family, and being outdoors.
his favorite song was "One Day At Time".
Survivors include his wife of 33 years: three adult children, Elizabeth Ibarra, Felipe Ibarra Jr., and Ali Campas: two sisters, Irma Villarreal and Esther P. Ibarra: five brothers, Fernando, Benjamin, David, Eliu and Theofilo Ibarra;16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three children, Eliu L. and Jonathan A. Ibarra and Silvia Nuncio, and brother, Josue P. Ibarra.
Graveside service at 10:30 a.m. on Wed. Feb. 3, in Eloy Memorial Park, with Eliu P. Ibarra officiating.
