Fernando Fierroz Ruiz

Fernando Fierroz Ruiz, a resident of Sierra Vista, passed away March 9, 2025 in Tucson, AZ. He was 70. He was born September 16, 1954.

Fernando went to school in Chandler, AZ and grew up in Ocotillo, AZ. He likes his oldies music, liked to dance and loved his family. He had such a sweet tooth. Sweets were his favorite. He liked to be out working on his yard. Denny's was his favorite place to eat. He loved his family. He was the big brother and always took care of business and was very thoughtful and caring. He loved his grandkids.

Fernando is survived by his daughter Melanie Ruiz; siblings Sylvia Valdez, Rachel Claybourne, Frank Flores and Joe Bichama; half siblings Maria, Jesus, Reynaldo, Martha Cecilia, Alma Angelina, Rodolfo, Ricardo, Maria Soledad, Graciela, Celsa, Rosaura, Gorge, Julia and Angelica; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jessie Fierroz Flores; his father Reynaldo Ruiz and brothers Christopher Flores and Victor Bichama.

Services will be on April 4, 2025 at St. Helen's of the Cross Roman Catholic Church, 205 E. 8th St., Eloy, AZ. Rosary 10:00am and Mass at 10:30 am. Burial Immediately following at Eloy Memorial Park, 5839 E. Milligan Rd., Eloy, AZ.
