Gilbert is survived by his father Felix Bonilla; son Gilbert Bonilla, Jr.; step daughter Lisa Ashford; Sister Gloria Bonilla; brothers Felipe Bonilla and Carlo Bonilla; 5 grandchildren and his dog Luna.
He is preceded in death by his mom Margarita Bonilla and his son Brandon Ashford.
