Gordan Beck Jr.

July 19, 1956 - December 3, 2021

Gordon Beck Jr. died at the age of 65 from Covid pneumonia on Deember 3, 2021 at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ.

He was an avid Civil War collector and reenactor and loved math and languages. He graduated Purdue College with a degree in french and math. Gordon retired after 30 years from Inland Steel at the age of 49 with the hope of teaching math in Arizona where he wanted to live since he was young. He moved to Arizona in 2009. Unfortunately he was able to teach because of a lung disease. In his career he developed the safety program for Inland Steel and he was a union rep and he saved many jobs.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debra and 6 living siblings.

He had a dry sense of humor and always had people laughing. He loved his Lord and Savior and he is in a better place.

There will be a memorial service Wednesday January 5, 2022 at Fountains of the Living Water Church, 518 E 2nd St., Casa Grande, AZ at 2:00 pm
