November 13, 1963 - April 10, 2025

It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of Jerome Erickson on April 10, 2025.Jerome passed away peacefully in his sleep last night, surrounded by love. He fought with incredible strength, courage, and grace through every moment of this journey. Even in his final days, he continued to inspire those around him with his unwavering spirit and selflessness. Our hearts are broken, but we are also incredibly grateful for the love and support we have received from family, friends, coworkers, and so many others whose lives Jerome touched. Your kindness, your donations, and your words of encouragement meant the world to him and to our family.

Jerome lived a life full of purpose, passion, and compassion. He gave so much of himself to others, and we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue in the hearts and minds of everyone he helped, mentored, and loved.

Jerome was born November 13, 1963, in Stoughton, MA

Jerome is one of the most extraordinary people I have ever known. He has always been full of life, energy, and compassion. His passions were endless, but some of his greatest joys came from amateur radio, experimenting with new technology, and flying drones. He had a deep love for space exploration and never missed a rocket launch. He even had our home 3D printed, which perfectly reflected his curious mind and forward-thinking spirit.

Jerome loved his work and his coworkers. He spent more than 20 years in the broadband and telecommunications industry where he made a lasting impact as a leader, mentor, and friend. In his most recent role as Director of Data Center Operations, he transformed the organization by adopting new technologies, standardizing processes, and driving innovative cost-saving strategies like cooling containment aisles in his data centers. He never stopped pushing forward and always led by example.

Jerome is also a family man through and through. He is a loving husband, a devoted father, a brother, and the proud dog dad of two very spoiled pups. His family has always been at the center of everything he does. He is the kind of dad who is never too busy to help with a school project, fix something around the house, or spend quality time with the kids talking, laughing, or exploring something new. He has shown our children what it means to be patient, strong, and generous with both time and love. When I suffered a stroke, Jerome stood by me through every step of my recovery. He was my rock, always encouraging me, always showing up. Now I am doing everything I can to be that same support for him. Jerome has also given so much to his community. He has been deeply involved with the Ronald McDonald House Charities and has always found ways to help others. Giving was never something he did for recognition. It was simply who he is.

Jerome is survived by his wife Bridget Erickson.  They were together for 14 years.  His children Derek Erickson, Tristan Hanafin, and Julie Erickson; siblings Kitty and Stephanie; and 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Lallis.

He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Marcella Erickson and his brother Gerry Erickson.

At his request there will be no services.
