Jerry Nash

June 22, 1942 - January 23, 2024

Jerry Nash passed away January 23, 2024 at home in Casa Grande. He was 81.

Jerry was born on June 22, 1942 in Tohoka, Texas. He grew up in West Texas before moving to Arizona, where he spent the rest of his life. Most of his career was as a welder at Benco which is where he met and married the love of his life, Shirley. They had 40 wonderful years together.

Jerry was an avid hiker and spent a lot of time out exploring the many trails of Arizona, including an epic 800 mile backpack trip across the Arizona Trail.

Jerry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Nothing was more important to him than spending time with them out camping and ATV riding.

He will always be remembered as a kind man with a caring, gentle soul and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Nash; children Donny Nash and Dana Nash; stepchildren Danny Elliott, Dennis Elliott, Kimber Morin, and Shane Elliott; brother John Nash; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Lucille Nash; brothers Dony Nash and Herbert "HL" Nash.

There will be no services.
