Mary Louise Cordova Castillo

Mary Louise Cordova Castillo, 80, passed away March 4, 2023 in Casa Grande. Mary was born May 29, 1942 in Eloy.

She is survived by her children Sally Montijo (Hector), Patricia Castillo, Martin Castillo (Frances), and Steven Castillo (Keaopua); Sisters Gloria, Ramona, Lydia, and Tina; brothers Henry, Johnny, Jose, and Manuel; 21 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, a son, and 2 sisters.

Nana Mary was a mother, sister, and friend but most of her life was spent dedicated to being a Nana, a caregiver. She cared for her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and children of friends. She was a volunteer grandmother at Chicanos Por La Causa from 2004 until her death, where she cared for more than 350 children. She enjoyed shopping, the Phoenix Suns, going to the casino and most of all spending time with her family.

Burial Services will be Friday March 10, 2023 at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy. Rosary at 9:30 am, Mass at 10:00 am. Burial immediately following at Eloy Memorial Park. Father Jorte presiding.
