Richard Lee Rivers

February 29, 1960 - January 14, 2025

Richard Lee Rivers, age 64, passed away at Oasis Pavilion Nursing and rehabilitation in Casa Grande on January 14, 2025. Born on February 29, 1960 in Augusta, GA, he was the son of Clifford Lee Rivers and Magdalene Bennifield-Lewis.

Richard was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, friend and co-worker. He worked as a superintendent for Quinco Electrical and was a dedicated provider for his family. His greatest joys came from spending time with family, having fellowship with his brothers and sisters in Christ as well as spending his down time enjoying sports

He is survived by his middle school sweetheart and wife of 36 years, Delores Rivers; his three children Lorenzo Rivers (LaQuonda), Lotondra Rivers, and Sir Richard Rivers II (Rogina); his mother and 7 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be January 25, 2025 at 10:00am at Lakeland Presbyterian Church, 5635 N. Daughtery Rd., Lakeland, FL
