Ricky Fruge
Arizona City,---Ricky James Fruge, 61, of Arizona City, whos a pastor for more than 20 years, died on Jan., 25, 2021, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.
Pastor Fruge was born on Aug. 19, 1959. He served in the Marine Corps for seven years. He latter was a police officer for local state and federal agencies. He later worked for in insurance.
He founded his Marine Ministries about seven years ago. He and his wife, moved to Arizona City in May of las year and established their ministry, including a food bank and a Christian business alliance. His ministry will continue in Arizona City and India.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; three sons; Seth James Fruge and Stephen D. Fruge of New Iberia, Louisiana, and Ricky James Fruge Jr. of Beaumont, Texas; a sister, Rhonda Hernandez of Lafayette, Louisiana; two brothers, Randy Hernandez of Cincinnati and Russ Hernandez of New Orleans; a stepsister, Trista Holly of Mandeville, Louisiana; and grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gilford J. and Alma Jean Hernandez; grandparents, Acey and Daisy Fruge and Romain and Lyndia Hernandez; and stepbrother, Gilford Hernandez.
Funeral at 3 pm., on Feb. 28 at Golden Harvest Cowboy Church. Donations may be made to Marine Ministries/Janice Fruge., P.O .Box 3282, Arizona City, Az. 85123.
