Shirley Jorgenson
Shirley A. (Schaar) Jorgenson, 82 of Coolidge, AZ- Wife of Richard (Dick) Jorgenson, passed away March
16th, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
Born June 25, 1938 to Melvin and Violet Schaar in Farmington, Wisconsin. She married Richard Jorgenson
in April 1057 and moved to Arizona in 1958 where she became a beloved member of the community,
and raised two children: Tom and Pam.
She was a lay-up operator at Champion Products and Parson Textile plants for many years, then drove a
bus for CART in Coolidge, helping others get to and from their appointments. No matter where she went
or what she was doing, she always had a smile on her face. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.
Her favorite things to do were spending time with her family. dancing and having a cold one with whoever was willing to have one with her, watching her hummingbirds and listening to her wind chimes.
She is survived by her husband Richard of 64 years, her son Tom (Debbie) Jorgenson, her daughter Pam(Mike) Wood. 5 Grandkids-Jamie (Kris) Jorgenson and Candice (Craig) Smith, Josh (Jennifer) Wood,
Brandon Wood and Nick (Chandra) Wood, 10 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great Great Grandchildren, a Sister Darlene (Sonny)
Cameron, two brothers Richard (Janice) Schaar and Art (Darenda) Schaar, many nieces and nephews, and her fur baby Lady.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held on at Tag's Cafe' on April, 10, 2021 from 3-6 pm.
